StudioTV is an Australian arts and entertainment channel owned and operated by SBS. In late 2012, Studio partnered up with The Loop to launch an above the line marketing campaign and competition in order to find four creative individuals to collaborate with on the channel’s new brand spots.

There were three key factors in the development of this campaign:

  • To achieve greater brand awareness
  • To integrate the channel with the creative community
  • To strengthen its relationship with Foxtel.

We invite the audience to Create Studio through a suggestive imagination and a focus on the process of creation. When you put on your thinking cap, an abstract accumulation of ideas takes place.
The brand and campaign needed work across online, print, and on-air advertising, demonstrating a playful tone to appeal to the creative industry.
The campaign closed out with a 32% increase in visitors m/m to the Studio website and exceeded the amount of expected entries.

Dittmar and I worked together on a pilot brand project for SBS’s arts channel STUDIO and presented a range of fresh ideas to our team, including a vibrant concept that we developed into a national marketing campaign. The work was awarded a Gold PromaxBDA in 2014 in the General Image Campaign category.”
